Thumbnails for Big Pictures in Konqueror

I just ran in to another case of no thumbnails for my photos in Konqueror. I know exactly what causes it but I guess it might not be obvious. I was just looking at tweaks for the KDE file browser yesterday and noticed that there's a file size limit that's considered when it creates icons which are thumbnails. You get a folder window that look like this:

The default is 3MB but some of the pictures from my Canon Digital Rebel XT are larger than that. So I have some pictures that get thumbnails created then I have some other pictures that weight in at 3.7MB and get the default icon. The quickest way to fix this in Konqueror is to pick "Configure Konqueror..." off the Settings menu. Then pick "Previews & Meta-Data" on the left. The settings you see now include a setting for Maximum File Size.

Set this to whatever you like, but if you set it really high then don't complain when your system just sits there while it makes thumbnail icons for thousands of 20MB pictures that you dumped in the same folder. I'm just going to bump mine up to 4MB since I think that's bigger than anything my camera will make. After the change don't forget to reload the view: hit the shift key and the refresh button.
