SVG Raster Sprite Animation

Here's a demo of animation using a bitmapped image for frames driven by Javascript and coded in SVG. Unfortunately it only works properly on Firefox 1.5+ at the moment. Click inside the box, then use the arrow keys or a,s,d,w,x to move around. I explain a little more about this in my blog.
